Woussickett Golf Course
The inaugural "Cancer Tees Me Off" Golf Scramble
was a big success! No one got a hole in one to win either of two
cars, a great time was had by all.
We had 42 teams play. When registrations were combined
with the overwhelming generosity of area businesses and residents,
the event raised some $11,000. The proceeds will be utilized by
North Coast Cancer Foundation to aid cancer patients with the
financial burden of their therapies.
Plans are already underway for next year's scramble.
Given the fantastic response to the first "Cancer Tees Me Off"
Golf Scramble, we're sure that the 2009 event will be even bigger
and better!
